Actor Santhanam's upcoming film Inga Naan Thaan Kingu which was slated to be released on May 10, will now hit theatres on May 17. The comedy entertainer is directed by Anand Narayan, who previously helmed Vijay Antony's India Pakistan in 2015.
The trailer which was released a few weeks ago showed Santhanam's character Vetrivel lamenting about not being able to find a life partner. He then finally meets Thenmozhi (Priyalaya) who is the daughter of Vijayakumar, a Jameen (Thambi Ramaiah) and they both marry each other. When all goes well in their marital life, Vetrivel is accused of planting bombs in Chennai and his photo is released to the public. What follows next is Vetrivel and his crew's elaborate plan to escape the tricky predicament, dodging the actual villains, fighting them, getting caught during their hilarious escapades and more.
The cast also features Munishkanth, Vivek Prasanna, Bala Saravanan, Maran and Cool Suresh. Late actors Manobala and Seshu will also be seen in prominent roles.
Ezhichur Aravindan has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of this film which has music by D Imman, cinematography by Om Narayan and editing by M Thiyagarajan. Lyrics for the songs have been penned by director Vignesh Shivan and Muthamil. Inga Naan Thaan Kingu is produced by Sushmita Anbuchezhian and presented by Anbuchezhian of Gopuram Films.
