Kavin's Star lands a U certificate

Actor Kavin-starrer Star, directed by Elan, has obtained a U certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Director Elan made this announcement on his social media handle. He wrote that the film has received a U certificate and urged to watch it as a family.

The film will be released on May 10 alongside Arjun Das' Rasavathi and Ameer's Uyir Thamizhukku.

Star's cast includes Lal, Aaditi Pohankar, and Preity Mukhundhan. The film, according to its trailer, follows a determined man who pursues a career in acting despite facing insults and rejections.

Star's technical crew comprises music director Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematographer Ezhil Arasu, editor Pradeep E Ragav, costume designer Sujith Sudhakaran, art director Vinoth Raj Kumar, and stunt director Vicky.

Meanwhile, Kavin will be headlining Bloody Beggar, directed by debutant Sivabalan Muthukumar, bankrolled by director Nelson Dilipkumar's Filament Pictures.
