Ameer-starrer Uyir Thamizhukku teaser out

Teaser of Ameer-starrer political thriller Uyir Thamizhukku has released on Friday.

The glimpse follows a politician (Ameer), who is plagued by criminal charges, trying to clear his name. He is shown speaking lines such as "getting jailed will make him a complete politician" and "truth will triumph at the end".

Director-actor Ameer who has been playing supporting roles will play the lead in Uyir Thamizhukku. He previously essayed the lead role in Yogi (2006).

Uyir Thamizhukku also stars Chandini, Anandraj, Subramaniam Siva, Ravi Venkatraman, Imman Annachi, Rajasimman, Saravana Sakthi, Mahanadhi Shankar, and Raj Kapoor in important roles. The film is directed and produced by Adham Bava under the banner of Moon Pictures.

The technical crew consists music director Vidyasagar, cinematographer Devaraj and editor Ashok Charles.

He is known for his directorials Mounam Pesiyaadhe, Raam and Paruthiveeran. He has also played a pivotal role in Vetrimaaran's Vadachennai (2018) starring Dhanush.
