
Tamil cinema comedian Seshu passed away on Tuesday failing to respond to treatments following a cardiac arrest. He was 60.
Seshu suffered a severe cardiac arrest and was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Alwarpet for the past few days. However, the treatment failed to revive him.
Born Lakshmi Narayanan, the comedian was popularly known by his stage name Seshu. He shot to fame through a TV show 'Lollu Sabha' which essentially makes a spoof of Tamil movies. The show has also produced actors like Santhanam, Manohar and Swaminathan. Dhilluku Dhuddu fame Rambhala was the director of this show.
Seshu was a regular collaborator in movies featuring Santhanam. The actor was also known for his philanthropic activities such as arranging weddings for women hailing from poor families.
He was last seen in Vadakkupatti Ramasamy starring Santhanam.
