Actor Kamal Haasan is now focusing on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, but rumours have been rife about his upcoming project Thug Life. In an interview with The Hindu, the actor has clarified that he would join the sets of Thug Life, which marks a reunion between him and his Nayakan director Mani Ratnam, after the nationwide elections. He also told the publication that Indian 2, his long-awaited sequel to the 1996 vigilante film with Shankar, is now in the post-production phase, and that shoot is also completed for the third part of the franchise.
The actor's last film was Vikram, with Lokesh Kanagaraj, and will be next seen in a cameo role in the multi-starrer epic Kalki 2898 AD.
