Teaser for Suriya's Kanguva to drop on this date

On Monday, Studio Green, the makers of Suriya's Kanguva announced that a teaser for the film is all set to drop on Tuesday, at 4.30 pm. So far, the makers have unveiled a glimpse and two posters from the film, which is helmed by Siruthai-fame Siva.

Mounted as a high-budget film, Kanguva also stars Disha Patani as the female lead, marking her debut in Tamil cinema. Bobby Deol, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu and Jagapathi Babu are also a part of the film's cast.

In an earlier conversation with CE, Siva said, "The film is set 1500 years ago and uses elements from ancient Tamil culture as well as other cultures from all over India. Kanguva is a fictional story set in an imaginary world with strong historical references and facts."

Kanguva will have cinematography by Siva's frequent collaborator, Vetri Palanisamy, production design by Milan and editing by Nishad Yusuf. Supreme Sundar will choreograph the action sequences, while Narayana has co-written the script. The dialogues are by Madhan Karky.

Kanguva is aimed at a 2024 release in 10 languages and 3D. The film marks Suriya's 42nd outing.
