On Saturday, the makers of GV Prakash's upcoming film, Rebel announced that the film's trailer will be unveiled on Monday, March 11. The film, also starring Mamitha Baiju, is helmed by first-time filmmaker Nikesh RS.
In an earlier conversation with CE, director Nikesh said, "I was brought up in Kerala's Munnar. It is a period film which will showcase the life of people in the town. The film will centre around students who study there and how they are affected by the politics unfolding in the institution."
Rebel also stars Karunaas, Subramania Siva, Shalu Rahim, Venkatesh V.P., Aaditya Bhaskar, Kalloori Vinoth and Aathira, among others.
Rebel's technical crew comprises Arun Radhakrishnan (cinematographer) and Vetre Krishnan (editor). The film has cleared censorship formalities with a U/A certificate.
Rebel is gearing up to hit theatres on March 22.
