Kalidas Jayaram wraps a schedule of Nila Varum Velai

We had earlier reported that actor Kalidas Jayaram has joined hands with Enna Solla Pogirai director A Hariharan for his next, titled Nila Varum Velai. Starring Kayadu Lohar as the female lead, the film went on floors a month ago.

On Saturday, the actor took to his Instagram stories to share that he has finished shooting for a schedule of the upcoming film. The filming looks like it was taken inside a deep forest.

In an earlier conversation with CE, director Hariharan said, "It is a period thriller set in the 1970s. It also has supernatural and paranormal elements." The film, which is simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu, has actor Sathyadev headlining the Telugu version.

For his sophomore directorial, Hariharan has roped in Prabhu and Radikaa Sarathkumar in key roles. Rahul Ramakrishna and Shatru play roles in Telugu that will be played by Vivek Prasanna and Deepak Paramesh in Tamil.
