Second single from Vetri's Aalan to release on this date

The makers of Vetri's Aalan announced, on Sunday, that the second single from the film, titled, 'Naadu Vittu' will be unveiled on June 27. The makers previously unveiled the first single titled 'Yaazhisaye' which was crooned by Chinmayi and penned by Karthik Netha. The upcoming song will be sung by Nikitha Gandhi.

Aalan is written and directed by Sivs R. In an earlier conversation with CE, the director said, "Aalan will be a love story told through the lens of spirituality and literature. Of late we have been seeing a lot of violence onscreen in Tamil cinema and amid this, we wanted to tell a love story. The film will show the life of a boy since he was 15 to the age of 40. As he aspires to be a writer, a path suddenly pushes him into spirituality. Does love change him or not is the story.” The director has previously helmed Karotiyin Kadhali.

Aalan will also feature German-origin actor Madhura. The supporting cast of the film includes Aruvi Madhankumar, Lal, Vivek Prasanna, and Karunakaran among others. The film has been shot in locations like Rishikesh, Kasi, Kodaikanal, Puducherry, and Chennai.

Aalan has cinematography by Vindhan Stalin, music by Manoj Krishna and editing by Kasiviswanathan. 3S Pictures is backing the film. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
