Not having publicly expressed his grief over the demise of his sister and singer Bhavatharini, music composer Yuvan Shankar for the first time opened up on the scenario in which he made Vijay-starrer GOAT's 'Chinna Chinna Kangal', which was released today.
The music composer on the microblogging site X said that while the song composition was taking place in Bengaluru, he and Venkat Prabhu felt that Bhavatharini would be perfect for this song when she was hospitalised. He adds, "I thought to myself that once she’s better and out of the hospital we can record her voice. But, an hour later I got the news that she’s no more. I never imagined I would be using her voice like this," revealing that her voice was utilised through AI as a tribute.
He further wrote in the post that composing this song was a "bittersweet moment" for him.
The song, penned by Kabilan Vairamuthu, was released this evening, coinciding with Vijay's 50th birthday.
