Petta Rap Teaser: Prabhu Deva promises plenty of music, dance and action in this entertainer

On Saturday, the makers of Prabhu Deva's Petta Rap have released the teaser of the upcoming film. Written by Dinil PK, Petta Rap marks the Tamil debut of SJ Sinu, who is known for directing Malayalam films like Theru (2023) and Djibouti (2021). 

Going by the visuals of the teaser, which begin with the titular song, originally made for the actor's hit film Kadhalan, Petta Rap promises to be a fun-filled entertainer with plenty of music, dance and action sequences.

Petta Rap stars Vedhika as the female lead. Bagavathi Perumal, Vivek Prasanna, Ramesh Thilak, Mime Gopi and Riyaz Khan are also part of the cast.

Bankrolled by Jobi P Sam, Petta Rap's technical crew consists of music composer D Imman, cinematographer Jithu Damodhar and editor San Lokesh. Petta Rap wrapped filming in February and a release date is yet to be announced.

Prabhudheva, who was last seen in Bagheera, which was released last year, has a slew of upcoming films including Vijay-Venkat Prabhu's much-anticipated Greatest Of All Time and Sakthi Chidambaram's Jolly O Gymkhana.
