GOAT first glimpse: Vijay Sr and Jr race in a high-octane action sequence

Vijay is pushing his limits, vrooming through the streets of a foreign land and chasing masked men in the first glimpse from The Greatest of All Time. The video was shared by director Venkat Prabhu, who is helming the film, on the occasion of Vijay's 50th birthday.

The short video, which spans less than a minute has the actor playing dual roles involved in a high-octane chase sequence with a few masked men. The video ends with the actor along with a person who looks like his younger version on a bike, wielding gun and about to shoot their targets.

Previously, the makers released the first single titled 'Whistle Podu,' which features vocals by Vijay and lyrics by Madhan Karky. The second single titled 'Chinna Chinna Kangal' is set to be unveiled at 6 pm today, June 22.

With Meenakshi Chaudhary playing the female lead, the ensemble cast of the film also includes industry heavyweights like Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Laila, Prabhudeva, Mohan, and Jayaram. Venkat Prabhu regulars like Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajai Raj, and Aravind Akash are also part of the cast. Late actor and politician Vijayakanth's character will appear in the film with the help of AI technology.

GOAT has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, editing by Venkat Raajen, art direction by Rajeevan, and action choreography by Dileep Subbarayan. Archana Kalpathi has produced the film under the AGS Entertainment banner.

The plot details of GOAT are currently kept under wraps. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 5 this year.
