GV Prakash shares updates on Thangalaan, Amaran and Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam

GV Prakash shares updates on Thangalaan, Amaran and Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam

Actor and music composer GV Prakash is busy with multiple projects in hand. He last acted and composed music in DeAr, where he starred alongside Aishwarya Rajesh. The film, which was released theatrically in April, was directed by Anand Ravichandran.

Up next, he is working on several films as a composer including Vikram's Thangalaan, directed by Pa Ranjith, Sarfira, the hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, Dulquer Salmaan's Lucky Baskhar, Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran and the Dhanush-directorial Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, among others.

Sharing an update on these upcoming films, he wrote on his X handle, "Lucky Baskhar and Thangalaan first singles completed and handed over to the producers... Both singles soon. See you all soon." Thangalaan stars Vikram and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles alongside Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone and Harikrishnan Anbudurai. The film, which has been postponed many times, does not have a release date yet.

Lucky Baskhar is a Telugu-language heist drama starring Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles. The film, directed by Venky Atluri, is set to be released on September 27.

When a user replied to the post asking for update on Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, directed by Dhanush, GV Prakash wrote that he is excited about all the four songs from the album and that it would be relatable for college-going students and youth. Billed as a romantic drama, the film features an ensemble cast including Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan.

He also revealed that the music for Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran is almost complete. "Waiting for production approval for first single," he added. Reports state that Amaran, which stars Sai Pallavi playing the female lead, is based on the late Indian Army officer, Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment.

Speaking about his upcoming film Kingston, he shared that the makers are currently working on the post production and CG. "It will be a game changer in cinematic experience," he said. The fantasy horror film directed by Kamal Prakash and produced by GV Prakash who also stars in the lead role.
