The makers of Rail unveiled the film's trailer on Sunday. The film marks the directorial debut of scriptwriter Bhaskar Sakthi.
The trailer shows a conflict brewing between a Tamilian and a migrant labourer from the North of India. Things go haywire as their ego comes in the way.
Rail features a bunch of newcomers in the lead roles, including Kunguma Raj and Vairamala. Others on the cast include Ramesh Vaidya, Parvez Mehru, Shamira, Kodchadaisendhil, Vairam Patti, Pindu, and Vandana. The earlier released teaser showed that the film would revolve around the clash between a north Indian migrant worker and a local Tamilian.
It is to be noted that Bhaskar Sakthi has previously written dialogues for films like Em Magan, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Naan Mahaan Alla, and Pandiya Naadu. He was also the scriptwriter for Azhagarasamiyin Kuthirai.
Rail's technical crew comprises music composer SJ Janani, cinematographer Theni Easwar and editor Nagooran. Rail is all set to hit theatres on June 21.
