'Kadharalz' song from Indian 2 out

The makers of Indian 2 unveiled the lyric video of their next single, 'Kadharalz' on Friday. Composed and crooned by Anirudh Ravichander, the peppy song has lyrics catering to the Gen Z sensibilities written by Rokesh.

Directed by Shankar, who also directed the original, Indian, the sequel will see Kamal Haasan reprise his role as Senapathy, a freedom fighter-turned-vigilante who hunts down corrupt individuals he believes are misusing the freedom he fought for.

Apart from Kamal, Sidharth and Rakul, Indian 2 also features Kajal Agarwal, SJ Surya, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Brahmanandam, Samuthirakani, Nedumudi Venu, Delhi Ganesh, Manobala, Jagan, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Zakir Hussain, Piyush Mishra, and Akhilendra Mishra.

Apart from Anirudh, the technical team of Indian 2 also comprises DOP Ravi Varman and editor Sreekar Prasad. The film was announced in 2017 and went through numerous production delays. Now, Indian 2 is gearing up for release on July 12.
