Kadharalz song from Indian 2 will be out tomorrow

The makers of Indian 2, the follow-up of the 1996 film Indian, starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role, announced that a new song, Kadharalz, from the film will be released tomorrow. The makers announced the same on their social media handles.

Directed by Shankar, who also directed the original, Kamal Haasan will reprise his role as Senapathy, a freedom fighter-turned-vigilante who hunts down corrupt individuals he believes are misusing the freedom he fought for, in the upcoming film.

The film was announced in 2017 and went through numerous production delays. Apart from Kamal, Sidharth and Rakul, Indian 2 also features Kajal Agarwal, SJ Surya, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Brahmanandam, Samuthirakani, Nedumudi Venu, Delhi Ganesh, Manobala, Jagan, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Zakir Hussain, Piyush Mishra, and Akhilendra Mishra.

Cinematographer Ravi Varman, editor Sreekar Prasad and music director Anirudh are part of Indian 2's technical crew, which is backed by Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions.

Indian 2 is all set to hit theatres on July 12.
