Here's a new poster from Dhanush's Ilaiyraaja biopic

On Sunday, on the occasion of legendary musician Ilaiyaraaja's birthday, the makers of his biopic starring Dhanush, unveiled a new poster. The poster features Dhanush in a retro look, on a stage with a harmonium, playing the instrument and performing for a massive crowd.

Yet to be titled, the Ilaiyaraaja biopic is all set to be helmed by Arun Matheswaran, who has previously worked with Dhanush on Captain Miller. Although it is yet to be confirmed, speculations are rife that Ilaiyaraaja himself will be composing the music for the upcoming biopic.

The biopic is backed by Varun Mathur and Saurabh Mishra for Connekkt Media, Sriram Bakthisaran and Ilamparithy Gajendran for Mercuri Movies and CK Padma Kumar for PK Prime Production. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer for the film, which will have production design by Muthuraj.

The makers of the Ilaiyaraaja biopic are yet to reveal more details regarding the extended cast and crew. The film is set to have a pan-Indian release in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages.
