'Kadharalz' video song from Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 out

Makers of Kamal Haasan's recently released action-thriller Indian 2 dropped the full video of the 'Kadharalz' song on Monday.

The dance number is sung by the film's composer, Anirudh, and the lyrics is penned by Rokesh.

The CE review of Indian 2 reads, "Perhaps the idea was for Indian 2 to skip all personal angles and jump straight into becoming a ‘social’ film. Where then is the deep socio psychological commentary on our society and its people? From out of nowhere, Senapathy comes up with the brainwave of inspiring people to rat on their near and dear ones—and it’s an idea that could well have been the theme of this whole film."

Directed by Shankar, the ensemble cast of Indian 2 also includes Kajal Aggarwal, SJ Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, and Samuthirakani, among others.

Jayamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu, and Lakshmi Saravana Kumar are credited as the dialogue writers of Indian 2. It has cinematography by Ravi Varman and editing by Sreekar Prasad.

Produced by Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions, Indian 2 will be followed by a third part of the franchise, which is in the post-production phase.
