Ashok Selvan-starrer Emakku Thozil Romance gets a release window

The Ashok Selvan-starrer Emakku Thozhil Romance, which has been in the making for the last few years, is now expected to release in August, the makers confirmed today in its audio launch.

Emakku Thozil Romance's trailer was recently launched, and Ashok Selvan seems to play the role of an aspiring filmmaker. The trailer suggested that the film would be a comedy of errors.

The romantic comedy also stars Avantika Mishra, Oorvasi, Azhagam Perumal, MS Bhaskar, Bagavathi Perumal, and Badava Gopi in prominent roles. It is directed by debutant Balaji Kesavan.

The film has cinematography by Ganesh Chandra, editing by I Jerome Alen, lyrics by Mohan Rajan, and music by Nivas K Prasanna. It is produced by M Thirumalai of T Creations.

Ashok Selvan was last seen in the OTT release Pon Ondru Kanden, which co-starred Vasanth Ravi and Aishwarya Lekshmi. His last theatrical release was the sports-drama Blue Star.
