How grandpa Rajinikanth deals with his grandson's shenanigans

Preferring to maintain a low-profile in his personal life, apart from Rajinikanth's films, not often do we get a glimpse of his familial roles.

But on Friday, his fans saw a playful side of their superstar when he decided to take his reluctant grandson to the school himself.

Rajinikanth's younger daughter Soundarya posted a picture of how her son Vedant, who refuses to go to school, agrees when his 'thatha' accompanies him. The post garnered attention and adoration among the actor's fans.

On the workfront, Rajinikanth has Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, who shot to fame directing the Suriya-starrer Jai Bhim (2021), the much-anticipated film features an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Rithika Singh, and VJ Rakshan. The film is yet to get a release date.

Rajini is filming for Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie, he will be joined by Sathyaraj and Shruti Haasan. Details about the rest of the cast is yet to be revealed.
