Makers of Suriya 44 ask fans to 'make a wish' ahead of the actor's birthday

Actor Suriya, who awaits the release of his action adventure Kanguva on October 10, is filming for his 44th feature, directed by Karthik Subbaraj.

Makers of Suriya 44 have released a cut-out poster, apparently of the actor, captioned "Let's make a wish" and "12:12 Tonight," announcing that an update from the film would be out at that time, on the occasion of the actor's 49th birthday.

The non-revealing cut-out of a person holding a gun suggests that the first look of the actor in the film will be out. Fans also expect the film's title to be announced.

Apart from Suriya, the film's cast includes Joju George, Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, and Karunakaran. The film went on floors this June.

Karthik Subbaraj is co-producing the film through his Stone Bench Films banner alongside Suriya's 2D Entertainment. The film has music composed by Karthik Subbaraj's regular collaborator Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna, editing by Shafique Mohamed, art direction by Jackson, and action choreography by Kecha Khamphakdee.
