
Filmmaker Ezhil Periyavedi's Parari, to be presented by director Raju Murugan, has won laurels on the global stage.
The makers announced that the film bagged a bronze medal at the 57th World Fest Houston Remi Awards under the Best Foreign Film category.
Raju Murugan said the film will be a "breathtaking and nerve-wracking experience" and added that it will debut in theatres soon. Ezhil Periyavedi worked as an associate director for Raju Murugan.
The Gypsy director is presenting this film in association with SP Cinemas. The film stars Hari Sankar of Thozhar Venkatesan (2019) fame as the protagonist and debutant Sangeetha Kalyan as the female lead. The film’s star cast comprises newcomers, who underwent acting training for 6 months.
The technical team of Parari has music by Sean Roldan and lyrics by Uma Devi. Sridhar will crank the camera for the film while the editing is taken care of by Sam RDX.
