Lyrical video of 'Come Back Indian' from Kamal Haasan-Shankar's Indian 2 out

The sequel to the 1996 vigilante action-thriller Indian, Indian 2, has released in theatres across the globe today.

The makers of the Kamal Haasan-starrer have released the lyrical video of 'Come Back Indian'. The lyrical video contained posters of Kamal Haasan as Senapathy and behind-the-scenes footage.

The song is written by Arivu, and the film's composer, Anirudh, has performed the vocals.

The ensemble cast of Indian 2 also includes Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, and Samuthirakani, among others. In the last press conference for the Indian sequel, Shankar also revealed that the film contains an animated version of RK Laxman's cartoon character, The Common Man.

Jayamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu, and Lakshmi Saravana Kumar are credited as the dialogue writers of the film. It has cinematography by Ravi Varman, editing by Sreekar Prasad, and music by Anirudh Ravichander.

Produced by Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions, the second instalment will be followed by a third part of the franchise, which is in the post-production phase.
