'Calendar Song' from Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 out

With just ten days to go for Indian 2's release, the makers of the film have released a new single from the film. Titled 'Calendar Song', the number has been sung by SUVI and Aishwarya Suresh with lyrics written by Kabilan Vairamuthu. The 'Calendar Song' features South African model and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow dancing to the number.

The film's album has six songs, namely 'Paaraa', 'Calendar Song', 'Neelorpam', 'Zaga Zaga', 'Come Back Indian' and 'Kadharalz'.

Directed by Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role, the film is a sequel to the 1996 film which stars the actor as Senapathy, the freedom fighter-turned-vigilante who fights against corruption. In part two, Kamal Haasan reprises his role from the original film who declares a “second war of independence" as unemployment, corruption and lack of development plague society.

The ensemble cast of the much-anticipated film includes Kajal Aggarwal, Sj Suryah, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Nedumudi Venu, Vivekh, Manobala, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, and Samuthirakani, among others.

Cinematographer Ravi Varman, editor Sreekar Prasad and music director Anirudh are part of Indian 2's technical crew. The film is co-produced by Lyca Productions in association with Red Giant Movies.

Indian 2 is all set to hit theatres on July 12.
