On Tuesday, Lyca Productions, the production house behind Aishwarya Rajinikanth's Lal Salaam, announced that the film's audio launch will happen on January 26 at Sri Sairam Institute of Technology, Chennai.
The makers also revealed that the film's music composer AR Rahman, and Rajinikanth who plays a cameo in the film, will be present at the event. The film stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles.
Billed to be a sports drama film, Lal Salaam is also expected to have political relevance. The supporting cast of the film includes Senthil, Jeevitha, Thambi Ramaiah, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Vivek Prasanna, Thangadurai, and KS Ravikumar. Veteran cricketer Kapil Dev will also be seen in a cameo in the film.
Lal Salaam marks Aishwarya's first collaboration with her father Rajinikanth and musician AR Rahman. With cinematography by Vishnu Rangasamy, the film has editing by Pravin Baaskar. Backed by Lyca Productions, the film is set to release additionally in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada on February 9.
