It's a wrap for Vishal's Rathnam

We had earlier reported Vishal is collaborating with director Hari for his 34th film titled Rathnam and the shoot is undergoing at a brisk pace. Vishal has now announced that the action film's shoot has been wrapped up.

Taking to his X handle, he said that it was an absolute pleasure to work with director Hari for the third time and cinematographer M Sukumar. "Always a memory for life working in such a positive atmosphere all through the shoot right from Tuticorin, Trichy, Karaikudi, Vellore, Tirupathi, Chennai. All thanks to the producer Stone Bench Karthik and the team. Well well well, now time to unleash darling DSP’s super exciting single track damn soon. Gonna be a feast for all you action lovers," he added.

The Mark Antony actor also hinted that the film will be released in May this year. 

Rathnam is produced by Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Production and Kaarthekeyan Santhanam's Zee Studios. The upcoming film will mark the third collaboration between Hari and Vishal after Thamirabharani (2007) and Poojai (2014).

Besides Vishal, the film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Murali Sharma, and Samuthirakani, among others. Devi Sri Prasad is the film's music composer, which will also have cinematography by M Sukumar and editing by T S Jay.
