GV Prakash's Idimuzhakkam premiers at Pune International Film Festival

GV Prakash's upcoming film Idimuzhakkam has been awaiting release for a long time. The film directed by Seenu Ramasamy, had its first look poster released back in 2022. 

GV Prakash took to his X handle to announce that Idimuzhakkam has now premiered at the Pune International Film Festival and had a very good response. He also thanked director Seenu Ramasamy and Skyman Films. 

The film, which was wrapped up in September 2021, stars Gayathrie opposite GV Prakash and features Saranya Ponvannan and Aruldoss in pivotal roles. 

Backed by Kalaimagan Mubarak, the action thriller set in a rural backdrop, is based on a story written by acclaimed writer Jeyamohan. 

Filmed in places in and around Theni, Idimuzhakkam has music by NR Raghunandan, art direction by Prem Kumar, editing by Thamizh, and cinematography by AR Ashok Kumar. 

Meanwhile, GV Prakash, who was last in Vignesh Karthick's Adiyae which was released last year, has a slew of movies in the pipeline including Kingston, Kalvan, Rebel and Dear.
