The makers of RJ Balaji's upcoming film, Singapore Saloon, released the film's trailer on Thursday. The film is directed by Gokul, who previously made films like Kaashmora and Rowthiram.
The trailer shows RJ Balaji as a topper in his college, who has one dream, to become a hairdresser and open a salon, called Singapore Saloon. However, his ambition comes with a lot of hurdles, starting with his father disagreeing citing the dignity of labour. How he overcomes these challenges and pursues his passion forms the story.
Singapore Saloon is backed by Vels Film International, the banner that produced RJ Balaji's LKG and Mookuthi Amman. Besides Balaji, the film also stars Sathyaraj, Lal, Robo Shankar, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Kishen Das, among others.
Singapore Saloon's technical crew consists of cinematographer M Sukumar, music by Vivek Mervin and RK Selva handling the edits.
Singapore Saloon is all set to hit theatres on January 25.
