GOAT makers release new poster featuring Vijay, Prabhudheva and Prashanth

Actor Vijay's GOAT is one of the most-anticipated upcoming projects. Helmed by Venkat Prabhu, the film marks Vijay and the Maanaadu director's maiden collaboration. On the occasion of Pongal, the makers had shared a new poster of the GOAT squad where we can see Prashanth, Prabhudheva and Ajmal walking alongside Vijay wearing military outfits and having guns in their hands.

Sharing the poster, producer Archana Kalpathi wrote, "Meet the GOAT squad. They are all ready to set the box office on fire. One action entertainer loading."

The first look poster for the film, which was revealed on December 31, 2023, had the caption, "Light can devour the darkness but darkness cannot consume the light." The poster seemed to confirm speculations that actor Vijay is portraying two different characters in the film. The second look poster showed Vijay in dual roles riding a bike during what seems to be a gun battle chase scene.

Produced by Archana Kalpathi under the banner of AGS Entertainment, GOAT went on floors in October 2023. With Meenakashi Chaudhary playing the female lead, the ensemble cast of the film also includes industry heavyweights like Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, Prabhudheva, Mohan, and Jayaram. Venkat Prabhu regulars like Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajai Raj, and Aravind Akash are also part of the cast.

With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, GOAT is set to have cinematography by Siddharth Nuni, editing by Venkat Raajen, art direction by Rajeevan, and stunt direction by Dileep Subbarayan.

Vijay and Yuvan Shankar Raja will be collaborating after two decades; they last worked together for the 2003 film Pudhiya Geethai.
