Aishwarya Lekshmi joins the cast of Mani Ratnam-Kamal Haasan's Thug Life

Earlier the makers of Thug Life announced that actors Joju George and Gautham Karthik have joined the cast of the film. The film starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role, is directed by veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam.

Now, Raaj Kamal Films International has welcomed Aishwarya Lekshmi to the cast of Thug Life.

Thug Life boasts an ensemble star cast including Jayam Ravi, Trisha Krishnan, Duqluer Salmaan, Abhirami, and Nasser, among others. Thug Life marks the sophomore collaboration between legendary actor Kamal Haasan and renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam, after the 1987 classic film Nayakan.

The film will be a co-production between Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies, Kamal's Raaj Kamal Film International, and Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies.

It will have music by AR Rahman, who last scored his Tenali in 2001. While the cinematography will be handled by Ravi K Chandran, the editing will be done by Sreekar Prasad. Action Choreography for the film will be taken care of by Anbariv.

Aishwarya Lekshmi was last seen in the 2023 film King of Kotha, starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. She has previously worked with Mani Ratnam in his magnum opus films Ponniyin Selvan I and II.
