Lyca Productions released the trailer of Arun Vijay's upcoming film, Mission Chapter 1 on Friday. Helmed by Vijay, the film also stars Nimisha Sajayan and Amy Jackson in lead roles.
The trailer starts by showing Arun Vijay as a prisoner in a jail in London. We eventually realise that he is innocent and that he has been framed by someone. The antagonist threatens Arun to complete a mission, by keeping his daughter as the bait. How he convinces the Jail wardens to let him complete the mission, forms the rest of the story.
Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopanna, Baby Iyal, Viraaj S, and Jason Shah form the supporting cast. The film's script is penned by A Mahadev.
The film was earlier titled Achcham Enbadhu Illayae and was later changed to Mission Chapter 1 after Lyca Productions came on board as producers.
Apart from music director GV Prakash, the film's technical crew also includes cinematographer Sandeep K Vijay and editor Anthony.
Mission Chapter 1 is all set to hit theatres for Pongal this year, on January 12, alongside Dhanush's Captain Miller and Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan.
