It is a wrap for Prabhudheva's Petta Rap

Actor-dancer Prabhudheva took to his social media handles to announce that his upcoming film Petta Rap has wrapped filming. Written by Dinil PK, Petta Rap marks the Tamil debut of SJ Sinu, who is known for directing Malayalam films like Theru (2023) and Djibouti (2021). 

On his Instagram handle, he shared a group picture with the cast and crew and said, "Petta Rap, All done and wrapped. Happy moments and a wonderful experience! Brother and good friend SJ Sinu, he's one talented director. It was real nice working with him, D Imman's music is absolutely Bea(u)tiful. Thanks to producer Jobi P Sam, Colourful Cinematographer Jithu Damodar, Such a Nice Actress Vedhika and the whole Cast & Crew, what a team we made!"

It is to be noted that the film's title is inspired by one of Prabhudheva's popular hit song of the same name from Kadhalan, directed by Shankar. Petta Rap is expected to be a musical action film and will star Vedhika as the female lead. Bagavathi Perumal, Vivek Prasanna, Ramesh Thilak, Mime Gopi and Riyaz Khan are also part of the cast.

Bankrolled by Jobi P Sam, Petta Rap's technical crew consists of music composer D Imman, cinematographer Jithu Damodhar and editor San Lokesh. 

Prabhudheva, who was last seen in Bagheera, which was released last year, has a slew of upcoming films including Vijay-Venkat Prabhu's much-anticipated Greatest Of All Time and Sakthi Chidambaram's Jolly O Gymkhana.
