Sundar C denies rumours of Kavin being part of his next directorial

Director and actor Sundar C last helmed Coffee with Kadhal in 2022 and headlined Thalainagaram 2 which was released last year. As he is awaiting the release of Aranmanai 4, social media was abuzz with the news that his next directorial would feature Kavin as the lead.

But the director has denied any talks with the Dada actor and has said that reports doing the rounds on social media are untrue.

The director's PR said, "There is news speculating on social media stating that actor Kavin is all set to play the lead in Sundar C's next directorial. When I checked with the director, he denied saying that it was untrue. Requesting you all to kindly consider only authentic or official information."

Sundar C's Aranmanai 4 will be the fourth instalment in his horror-comedy franchise. The film will be written and directed by him, who will also be a part of the cast including, Tamannaah Bhatia, Raashi Khanna, and Yogi Babu among others. Others part of the cast include Kovai Sarala, VTV Ganesh, Delhi Ganesh, Rajaendran, Singapuli, among others. The horror-comedy film, which was supposed to hit theatres for Pongal, is awaiting a new release date.

Meanwhile, Kavin has director Elan's much-awaited Star in the slate. The shoot of the film had wrapped up a few days ago. The rom-com stars Lal, Preity Mukundhan, and Geetha Kailasam.
