SJ Suryah onboard Vikram's Chiyaan 62 

On Friday, the makers of Vikram's next, tentatively titled Chiyaan 62, announced that SJ Suryah has joined the film's cast. The upcoming film is helmed by SU Arun Kumar, the director of the recently released Chithha. 

Previously, the makers released a glimpse while announcing the film. In the video, which unfolds in a police station in Tiruttani, we can see a few band members being kept captive. In the next scene, where a woman registers her complaint, we can see two people barging into the police station with one beating the other. When Vikram stops fighting, he whispers something into a policeman's ear following which he leaves the station. When another officer stops him and asks his name, he says that this is the real question. He also mentions his store's address - Kalaivani Enterprises in the penultimate scene. 

GV Prakash has been roped in to compose music for the film. Chiyaan 62 is backed by Riya Shibu under the HR Pictures banner. It may be noted that Riya's father Shibu Thameens bankrolled Vikram starrers like Irumugan and Saamy Square. 

Meanwhile, SJ Suryah was last seen in Jigarthanda Double X. He currently has Indian 2, D50, and Love Insurance Corporation in Tamil and Game Changer and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram in Telugu, in various stages of production.
