Preity Mukhundhan's character introduction from Star out

The makers of Kavin's next, Star, released a first-look glimpse of model and actor Preity Mukhundhan. The actor is all set to be seen as Meera Malarkodi in the upcoming film.  Also starring Aaditi Pohankar, Star is written and directed by Elan.

Elan has previously helmed Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (2018). Star also stars Lal and Geetha Kailasam. It is to be noted that the film was initially supposed to star Harish Kalyan in the lead, who was then replaced by Kavin. 

In a previous conversation with CE, Elan said, “I have reworked the script. While Pyaar Prema Kaadhal was a rom-com, Star will have a mix of everything including a college story, romance and family drama.” 

On the technical front, Ezhil Arasu, who also worked on Dada, will crank the camera for Star, while editing will be handled by Pradeep E Ragav. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the film's music composer. National Award-winner Sujith Sudhakaran is designing costumes and Vinoth Raj Kumar N is the art director.
