After its theatrical run, Jolly O Gymkhana has got an official digital release date on Saturday. Aha, the streaming partner of the Prabhudeva starrer, released a special trailer to announce the same.

Accordingly, the Shakthi Chidambaram directorial will start streaming on Aha on December 30 (coming Monday).

The film marked the third collaboration between Prabhudeva and Shakthi Chidambaram after Charlie Chaplin (2002) and Charlie Chaplin 2 (2019).

The film opened to mixed to negative reviews upon its release on November 22. The CE review of the film reads, "The film borrows the popular trope from films like Weekend at Bernie's, where the central characters make others believe that a corpse is alive, played by Prabhu Deva this time. Interestingly, instead of milking the trope dry, director Sakthi Chidambaram connects it with several other subplots. Madonna Sabastian's Bhavani is trying to save her family's restaurant from being destroyed by the loan sharks, a group of politicians are involved in a large-scale scam, John Vijay's police officer must prove his innocence, a group of assassins are on the loose, and Prabhu Deva's lawyer character brings along his own set of conflicts. While it might seem like a chaotic mess of plot conveniences at first, the subplots are surprisingly cohesive. The one discordant portion is the plot thread involving Yogi Babu, a priest who listens to Madonna Sabastian's confessions, a painfully obvious exposition tool."

Jolly O Gymkhana also featured Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Robo Shankar, John Vijay, Sai Dheena, and Madhusudhan Rao in pivotal roles.

Backed by Rajendra M Rajan and Punitha Rajan for Transindia Media & Entertainment Private Limited, the technical crew comprises composer Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy, cinematographer MC Ganesh Chandra, and editor Ramar.
