Actor Kayal Anandhi played the protagonist in debut director Rajashekar's thriller White Rose, which released in theatres on April 5 this year.
The makers of the film announced on Wednesday that it will release on the streaming platform Aha on December 27.
The film, which opened to mixed reviews upon release, also stars RK Suresh, Rooso Sridharan, Vijjith, Baby Nakshathra, Sasilaya and Dharani Reddy. The film's CE review reads, "White Rose maintains a gripping pace for most of its runtime, building suspense until the major reveal around the 90-minute mark. However, the final 30 minutes of the film suffer from repetitiveness. The focus solely on Divya's escape attempts becomes tiresome; despite the escalating danger, her actions occasionally defy logic. Even basic survival instincts seem absent at times, as she repeatedly gets attacked by the villain without utilising readily available objects for defence. For example, in a scene, she is thrashed by the villain but doesn't bother to pick a lamp or a centrepiece from the table near her to use to her advantage. This mundanity undermines the tension built throughout the film."
White Rose is backed by Ranjani; the technical crew of White Rose consists of music by Johan Shevanesh, cinematography by Elayaraja V and editing by Gopikrishna.
