Ajith expresses displeasure over 'Kadavuley Ajithey' trend

Actor Ajith, who is gearing up for the release of his next Vidaamuyarchi, has aired his discontentment over his fans shouting 'Kadavuley Ajithey' in public events and gatherings.

In an official press note, the actor wrote that he is uncomfortable with the usage of superlatives and "any kind of prefix" attached to his name. He reiterated that he prefers to be called either by his name or initials. It is worth noting that a few years ago, he requested his fans refrain from calling him 'Thala'.

He further added that he requests all those who "indulge in this slogan shouting" with immediate effect.

He urged his fans to 'work hard, play hard without hurting anyone' and to take care of their respective families and be law-abiding citizens.

Ajith broke silence after several videos surfaced on social media of "Kadavuley Ajithey" sloganeering in many governmental and private events by the actor's fans.

On the workfront, Ajith recently completed the dubbing process of his next Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, which is slated to be released in theatres on Pongal, 2025. He is also working on Good Bad Ugly with director Adhik Ravichandran.

The actor is also returning to the racing circuit with the 2024 European GT4 championship and recently announced his racing team.
