

Actor Sivakarthikeyan has made a donation of Rs 10 lakh towards the Chief Minister's relief fund owing to the devastation caused by Cyclone Fengal.
He handed a cheque for the said sum to the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Udhayanidhi Stalin.
In a post in his X handle, actor-turned-politician Udhayanidhi thanked Sivakarthikeyan for his contribution.
December began for Tamil Nadu with nature's wrath as Cyclone Fengal left a trail of loss of lives and properties. While Chennai has recovered from the calamity, interior districts like Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram and Krishnagiri are still reeling from it.
On the workfront, Sivakarthikeyan is basking in the commercial and critical success of Amaran, which tells the story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was martyred during an anti-terrorist operation in 2014. The film also explores the army man's attachment to his family and his love for his wife, Indhu Rebecca Varghese.
Sivakarthikeyan next has SK23/SKxARM, with director AR Murugadoss. The film also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Vikranth and Shabeer Kallarakkal.
