As music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is celebrating his 45th birthday, makers of his upcoming project The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) released the fourth single 'Matta' from the film on Saturday.
The song from the Vijay-starrer is sung by Yuvan, Shenbagaraj, Velu, Sam, and Narayanan Ravishankar, with Vivek penning the lyrics. Three singles from the film 'Whistle Podu', 'Chinna Chinna Kangal', and 'Spark' were released earlier.
Apart from Vijay, GOAT also stars Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhudeva, Mohan, and Jayaram in prominent roles. Joining them are Venkat Prabhu's frequent collaborators Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajai Raj, and Aravind Akash. Late actor and politician Vijayakanth will appear in the film with the help of AI technology.
GOAT, directed by Venkat Prabhu, has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, editing by Venkat Raajen, art direction by Rajeevan, and action choreography by Dileep Subbarayan. Kalpathi S Aghoram has produced the film under the AGS Entertainment banner, with Archana Kalpathi serving as the creative producer. The film is slated for a September 5 release.
The film is slated in the IMAX format in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, with Zee Studios distributing it across North Indian states in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
