'Adangaatha Asuran' video song from Raayan out

The makers of Raayan, Sun Pictures, unveiled the video song of 'Adangaatha Asuran' from the film on Wednesday. Composed by AR Rahman, the intense celebration song is voiced by the composer and Dhanush. The latter has also penned the lyrics for the song. The visuals feature a fiery Dhanush shaking his leg along with Dushara, SJ Suryah, and others. 

Raayan, which hit theaters on July 26, also stars Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, Selvaraghavan, Saravanan, Prakash Raj, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in prominent roles. The film is written and directed by Dhanush and marks his sophomore directorial and 50th feature film. 

The film opened to mixed to positive reviews. Our CE review of the film read, "If Dhanush so chose, he could have treated Raayan as a film with elevation moment after elevation moment, set piece after set piece, but he doesn’t. He observes fascinating restraint and steps into the action zone quite carefully each time."

Raayan has cinematography by Om Prakash, editing by Prasanna GK, stunts by Peter Hein, as well as dance choreography by Prabhu Deva and Baba Baskar. The film is all set to premiere on Prime Video on August 23.
