The makers of Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal Season 3 have announced the fresh cast list with the title song 'New Age New Batch'.
Season 3 will have Sakthi Raj playing Shakthi, Thaafia Abuthahir as Madhi, Dharshini as Yamini, Aniiruth Kanakarajan as Karthik, Bhuvaneshwari as Maha, Baanumathi as Pooja Tiwari, Vijay Duke as Sasikumar, Ajith Kumar as Ekambaram, Aakarsha as Priya Aneessh, Sivashanmugam as BujjiBabu, Dhanusha RK as Nikitha, Prince Xavier V as Ranjith, Jasmine Parveen as Janani, Jagabar Sathik as John, and Feroz M as Mahesh.
Following the overwhelmingly positive response for the first two seasons, streamer Disney+ Hotstar has renewed campus drama Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal for the third season.
The webseries is inspired by the television serial of the same name that aired on Vijay TV in 2006. The first season premiered in 2022, and the second one this April. As both seasons were well received, the streamer has planned to renew the series. The makers issued a statement saying, “As in the case of the first and second seasons, the series, through its engaging and entertaining story, will look to capture and present all the joys, tears, fears, surprises, pain, and thrills of present-day students.”
However, the number of episodes in this season is not known yet. The third season will stream on Disney+ Hotstar on August 30.
