The makers of actor Vijay's upcoming film Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) have announced the date of the film's trailer release.
The announcement stated that the film's trailer video will be dropped on August 17 at 5 PM.
In a recent interview with a Tamil magazine, the film's director, Venkat Prabhu, revealed the plotline. He said, "The characters played by Vijay, Ajmal, Prashanth and Prabhudeva are part of the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS), which works in tandem with the RAW. The team gets haunted by one of its missions in the past; how they manage to get out of this trouble is what the film is about."
GOAT, with Meenakshi Chaudhary in a lead role, also stars Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Laila, Prabhudeva, Mohan, and Jayaram in prominent roles. Joining them are Venkat Prabhu's frequent collaborators Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajai Raj, and Aravind Akash. The late actor and politician Vijayakanth will appear in the film with the help of AI technology.
GOAT has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, editing by Venkat Raajen, art direction by Rajeevan, and action choreography by Dileep Subbarayan. Archana Kalpathi has produced the film under the AGS Entertainment banner. The film is slated for a September 5 release.
