

Filmmaker Atlee is the latest in the line of celebrities heaping praise on Vijay Sethupathi's 50th feature, Maharaja, which garnered both commercial and critical success.
The Jawan helmer said he loved the film and apologised for being late to the proverbial party. Calling the film "the best," he congratulated director Nithilan, Vijay Sethupathi and producer Jagadish Palanisamy.
Maharaja was released on June 14 and went on to become a critical and commercial success before being released on Netflix last month. The film also stars Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, and Natarajan Subramaniam in pivotal roles alongside Abhirami, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Boys Manikandan, Singam Puli, Bharathiraja, Kalki, Vinod Sagar, and Sachana Namidass.
Maharaja is produced by Sudhan Sundaram through his Passion Studios banner and Jagadish Palanisamy under his banner, The Route. It has cinematography by Dinesh Purushothaman, music by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, and editing by Philomin Raj.
