It is well known that Suriya's upcoming much-anticipated film Kanguva is all set for release on October 10. The makers have now announced that the film's trailer will be unveiled on August 12, coinciding with the birthday of the film's director and writer Siva.
Kanguva also stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, G Marimuthu, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, Ravi Raghavendra, BS Avinash and Deepa Venkat, among others. The film will mark the Tamil debut of Disha Patani.
The fantasy period action film, which will be made in two parts is expected to traverse across multiple time periods. In a teaser which was released earlier, it was revealed that the actor plays the titular character Kanguva who leads an army against the antagonist played by Bobby Deol's character.
Produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, Kanguva will feature cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and editing by Nishadh Yusuf. According to reports, the film is expected to be released in 38 languages in 3D and IMAX versions.
