The first single from Hiphop Adhi's Kadaisi Ulaga Por was unveiled by the makers on Friday. Titled 'Boombastic', the song has been sung by Hiphop Tamizha, Chinnu Ponnu and Rajan Chelliah with lyrics written by the Adhi himself. Besides acting in the film, Adhi serves as its director and composer, one of the lyricists, and producer with the banner Hiphop Tamizha Entertainment.
The glimpse of the film which was released a few weeks back showed that the film is set against the backdrop of the Sri Lankan Civil War. It may be an inspiration for a cinematic take on the territorial conflict fuelled by political and ethnic tensions. There is a reference to Nassar’s character being appointed Prime Minister of the Southern Province. And the title, meaning “fight until the end of the world,” seems to refer to a war slogan.
The cast of Kadaisi Ulaga Por also includes Natty, Anagha, N Alagan Perumal, Harish Uthaman, Munishkanth, Singampuli, Kalyan Master, Elango Kumaravel, Thalaivasal Vijay, Mahanadi Shankar, Elango Kumanan, Vinoth GD, and Guhan Prakash, among others.
The technical crew of the film includes cinematographer Arjun Raja, editor Pradeep E Ragav, art director RK Nagu, and stunt director Mahesh Mathews. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
Adhi was last seen in filmmaker Karthik Venugopal’s PT Sir, which marked his 7th film as an actor and 25th film as a composer.
