Lyrical video of 'Mandaikku Sooru Eruthey' from Soodhu Kavvum 2 out

The lyrical video of second single of Soodhu Kavvum 2: Naadum Naattu Makkalum, 'Mandaikku Sooru Eruthey' has dropped on YouTube Monday.

The 105-second song looks to be the theme music of the lead character Gurunath (Shiva) which mostly is boastful about the hero and alternates between boozing and shoot-outs.

'Mandaikku Sooru Eruthey' is penned and sung by Karnan Kanapathy along with Premgi Amaren and Stephen Zechariah.

The first single 'We Are Not The Same' was released on March 30.

Soodhu Kavvum is a 2013 black crime comedy film directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. The film starred Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, Ashok Selvan, and Sanchita Shetty, among others. However, the four actors will not be returning for the sequel. Soodhu Kavvum 2 is written and directed by SJ Arjun. It stars Harisha, Radha Ravi, M.S. Bhaskar, Karate Karthi, Ramesh Thilak, Aruldoss, Kalki and Kavi. The film has a story penned by SJ Arjun and T Yogaraja.

In an exclusive interview to CE, Arjun on what awaits fans of the original Soodhu Kavvum in the sequel, said, "Part two will replicate the absurd humour and other entertaining factors of the first instalment." In addition to that, he says that the film has an important point to convey about current issues. The film will also contain a message regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections." However, he assures that the message will be organic and not preachy.

The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Karthik K Thillai, music composer Edwin Louis Viswanath and editor Ignatious Aswin.
