Yuvan clarifies why his Instagram handle is defunct

Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja clarified why his Insta handle had "disappeared", thereby rubbishing rumours around it.

The composer has written a post on his X handle: "Hey guys, Thank you for the concerned messages. It's just a technical error, my team is trying to recover my Insta account and I'll be back soon 😊 Love, always!" (sic)

Yuvan's clarification comes at a time when it is being widely speculated on social media that he deactivated his Instagram handle due to the hate posts he received for the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) first single "Whistle Podu".

The musician's post has conclusively settled the online debate over his Insta handle disappearance.

On the workfront, Yuvan is part of GOAT, starring Vijay and directed by Venkat Prabhu, which is slated to be released on September 5. He has also teamed up with Pyaar Prema Kaadhal fame director Elan for Star, with Kavin and Aaditi Pohankar in lead. Star is yet to get a release date, and is expected to be announced soon.
