Prajin joins with Santhosh Raavanan for Raanjha

Debut director Santhosh Raavanan has joined hands with actor Prajin for the film Raanjha.

The film's title announcement poster has been unveiled by actor-director M Sasikumar.

Though the film's title, taken from the tragic Urdu love story of Heer and Raanjha, is suggestive of a romantic film, the announcement post was captioned hinting at a thriller.

Ivana Varun has been cast opposite Prajin to play the female lead. Raanjha, produced by K Sambasivan's Sri Krish Pictures and CV Kumar's Thirukumaran Entertainment, has cinematographer Kishore Ramachandran, editor Ignatious Ashwin, music composer Hari SR, art director V Sasi Kumar and stunt choreographer Ram Kumar in its technical crew.

Debutant Santhosh Raavanan is known for his short films such as Nediya Kazhiyum Ira.

Prajin had two releases in 2023 - D3 and Akku, he was last seen in Ninaivellam Neeyada.
