First single from Vijay Kumar's Election to be out on this date

First single of Actor-director Vijay Kumar-starrer Election will be released on Tuesday.

The song has been titled 'Election Song'. Since the film is billed to be a political drama, the number could possibly be carrying a message.

The first single is composed by K, penned by Gnanakaravel S and Mukesh Mohammed has lent vocals.

About the film, director Thamizh told CE it tries to impart the message that people will have a good future if they choose the right counsellor. He adds that the film revolves around the local body elections and its impact on protagonist, played by Vijay Kumar.

Election features actors like George Maryan, Vathikuchi-fame Dileepan, Richa Joshi, Natchiyal Suganthi, and Pavel Navageethan in important character roles. The cast of Election also has many fresh faces, who, according to Thamizh, are the soul of the film.

On the technical front, Mahendran Jayaraj, who is best known for 96, is the cinematographer while Govind Vasantha is the composer, CS Prem Kumar is the editor, and Renganaath Ravee is the sound designer. Election is yet to get a release date.

The 'Election Song' will be released on Tuesday at 12 PM.
